Rich Evans has spent his career inside revenue functions rather than advising from the outside. He has founded, scaled and exited multiple businesses, which means he understands the lived experience of running a commercial team under pressure: missed quarter, board conversation incoming, half the pipeline standing on one deal, a top biller about to leave.

Today Rich works as an investor in and strategic advisor to a portfolio of 19+ UK SMEs in the £2m to £30m revenue band. His advisory work spans go-to-market strategy, sales team design, compensation and incentive plans, territory and account allocation, demand generation, pipeline rigor and forecasting discipline. He sits at board level with founders and leadership teams, and is typically retained when a business is scaling past founder-led sales or resetting after a missed plan.

At Evara, Rich leads the Revenue Advisory practice and the Strategic Revenue Audit programme. The audit is a structured operator-led diagnostic that maps a business's commercial function across strategy, structure, motion, demand, team and operations, and produces a prioritised action plan with named owners. Rich also acts as a Fractional CRO for selected clients where the operating model needs to be installed before a permanent leader lands.
