From the Black Country to the big distribution parks off the motorway network, the West Midlands moves more product than almost anywhere in the country. A material handling business right in the middle of it wants you to own the territory.

The opportunity

You will run a defined territory across the West Midlands, selling forklifts, materials handling equipment and service contracts to a customer base that genuinely needs them. Warehousing, manufacturing and third party logistics, the demand is everywhere. Your job is to be the person those operators call.

There is a healthy existing base to look after and real scope to win new business. How far you take it is largely down to you.

What good looks like

A full pipeline, strong relationships across your patch and a reputation as someone who turns up, understands the operation and solves the problem.

This role is for you if

  • You have field sales experience, ideally in materials handling, plant or capital equipment.
  • You know the West Midlands or you are ready to make it yours.
  • You are self-motivated and comfortable owning your numbers.
  • You would rather build long relationships than chase quick wins.
